Mississippi Valley State College Upward Bound Program is training their students to become the instructors. This hands-on STEM lab includes Raspberry Pi computers, CNC and Laser cutters, MakerSpaces for wood, engineering, electrical and media labs draw students into engaging projects. Using Growth Mindset to help create safe environments for failure, students quickly learn that it’s good to be a geek and make mistakes, laughing at the challenges and learning from each other.
